To me, freedom is the power and independence to be able to live by my conscience. Others can say nasty things to me, but I should be able to choose whether to be hurt or not. Someone may start an argument, but my true freedom lies in deciding not to react. My freedom is when I refuse to go with the majority opinion, and adhere to my beliefs. Freedom lies in focusing on my faults and shortcomings, and being proactive in bringing about change, rather than pointing fingers at others. Freedom is the beautiful feeling that the one person in this whole world that I can change is - myself!
