Let me start with the introspection assignments. Introspection gave a sense of happiness, fulfilment, reminded me of my achievements, my failures, bygone era of my childhood.

It made me realize how blessed I am. That did help me to change my perspective to some extent.

The understanding from the course has helped me to become a better human being, helped me to deal with my emotions, understand my own needs and understand that there are different ways of looking at things/situations.

Doing an online course is fine, but there is nothing like human interaction. Same syllabus with people in direct contact, discussions, exchange of ideas would have been great. It has reminded me often while going through the course, how important is human interaction.

Mentoring system is good. I have made use of it mostly, when I was confused, had problems and needed more clarity. I feel it can be more effective for people like me, if we can have discussions at the end of every module. (Not having a discussion only when one has a doubt.)

A video about how exactly a counselling session (dummy) progresses can be of great help.

More personal interactions over phone/Skype/videoconferencing will be more effective.
