I joined DCS to know about myself and about human relations and emotions.

It's been an enriching experience for me through out the course. I learnt -handling conflict, handling stress with least distress, forgiving doesn't mean to give in but it means to let go for inner happiness and to develop a positive outlook towards the future and to move on without being struck in the past, how to nurture relationships and make them better, child- parent relationship, importance of sex education at home and importantly being HUMAN.DCS not only helped me evolve as a person but also helped me to evolve emotionally to reach out for fellow human being. The most important lesson I learned here is being empathetic, being human to be sensitive towards others emotions and listening with empathy. Empathy and being non-judgmental helps us to relate to people. All the skills I learned will help me to reach out to people and in the meanwhile help me to understand myself. I have to keep working on my counselling skills time to time and my learning process continues.
